This weekend was the annual Best Weekend in February (2009 Edition). This long standing tradition involves a group of guys – friends – taking time to leave their busy schedule, beautiful girlfriend/fiancée/wife, and cell phone reception behind to enjoy about 24 hours of just being a man in the woods. The event involves: guns (of course), steaks (deliciously prepared by our wonderful host’s dad), adult beverages, poker, more guns, the inevitable killing of some “innocent” animal, and of course wonderful reminiscing about days gone by and discussion of things yet fulfilled. This year’s edition included 6 out of 10 Luther Boys (Colby, D.O., Dwight, John, Logan, and myself) as well as our good friends Jonny, Steven, and Jared. I’ll stop talking and get on to the photos.
