I have to admit I have a thing for the vintage look that people get shooting Holgas and Holgaroids. Why I don’t just shell out the $30 for a Holga and shoot some film, I don’t know. Maybe I will soon, because they’re not that expensive and they look like a ton of fun, even though the only choice you have (for the most part) is your film speed. For now, I have the flexibility of shooting however I want with my digital rig, and I don’t have to send medium format film off to get processed. This nifty little program called AnalogColor lets you play around with your digital files to give them a lo-fi vintage look, and you can even simulate light leaks and put a decent “polaroid” style border around your photos. I don’t know how much I will use this going forward, but for now, here are the previous post’s images after processing with AnalogColor. I think they’re pretty neat.
